Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern and Filmfest München presents on Thursday June 29th 2017 the American movie "Mr. Roosevelt". After the comedy you are invited to the Milla Club to rock the party. Free entry for students!

The entrance fee for the cinema and the party is free for all students!
The American movie 'Mr. Roosevelt' from and with Noël Wells will be shown at 19:30h at Atelier 1 (City Kino, Sonnenstraße 12)
Emily Martin is a struggling 20-something who moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in comedy after graduating college in Austin, Texas. When a loved one falls sick, she returns to Austin and runs into her ex-boyfriend, as well as his amazing and intimidating new girlfriend. Low on funds and stuck in Texas for the weekend, Emily stays with the two of them in her old, but miraculously remodeled house. She quickly finds her way into the circle of a local female badass who shows Emily a good time and tries to keep her from spinning out as she goes toe-to-toe with the new girlfriend, all the ways her ex has changed, and ultimately, her own choices and guilt about leaving the past behind.
The movie will be shown in original English version. After the movie you have the possibility to pester your question to the director, principle actress and scriptwriter Noël Wells. Already in 2013/14 she was a group member of the satirical programme "Saturday Night Life" in the USA.
From 22:00 onwards the audience and the movie crew will party in the Milla Club where DJ Rawfunkie (KREW) provides us with danceable music (adress: Holzstr. 28).
If your under the first 100 students in the club, you will get a drink for free (Softdrink or beer).
How to get tickets?
From the 23rd onwards you can just go to one of the Filmfest ticket offices
(City Kinos Atelier, RIO Filmpalast, Filmmuseum, Gloria Palast, ARRI Kino, HFF München, Kinos Münchner Freiheit, Theatiner Film, Filmtheater Sendlinger Tor.) , show your student card and reserve a ticket for Thursday.
