Student Loan Advisory Service
The student loan advisory service is closed on Thursday, 20.02.2020.
On February 24th to February 28th: Open Thursday and Friday only.
When can we help
Anyone who wishes to borrow money to finance their studies is invited to come and obtain free and independent advice at our Student Loan Advisory Service. Before borrowing a large sum of money and going into debt as a student - with whatever programme or financial institution - you should definitely take advantage of this offer!
How do we help
In a personal consultation, our advisors give you information on the various types of loans offered by public institutions. A preliminary overview of these options can be found on this website under Finances. However, you should still make use of the opportunity to obtain some personalised advice. Which loan programme is most suitable for you depends on many factors: university, semester, nationality and the income of your parents are all important.
Before you start looking for information about loans, you can also get advice on cheaper possibilities of financing your studies: you are welcome to get in touch with our General and Social Advisory Service.
How to contact us
The Student Loan Advisory Service is offered centrally in Munich, for all universities that the Munich Student Union is in charge of. In a personal interview with our consultant, we can take care of your concerns in the best possible way.
At the moment, extensive questions on loan applications or loans in general can not be answered via email or phone.
