ELSA (The European Law Students' Association) is an independent, politically neutral and non-profit international organization of law students, trainee lawyers and young lawyers. Since 1989, ELSA Germany e.V. exists as an umbrella organization of the now 43 German faculty groups with a total of more than 11,000 members.
Our goal is to promote the cooperation of young Europeans in the field of law.
Events

Fresher-Trip: weekend at the beginning of each winter semester, offering the opportunity to get to know each other and make new contacts

Fresher-week: numerous events in the first weeks of each winter semester

L@W-events: Visits to legal departments and law firms of various sizes with presentations

STEP: arranging paid internships abroad in law firms, public authorities, institutions and companies throughout Europe

Numerous journeys within Germany and also abroad (e.g. to the Federal Constitutional Court, Federal Court of Justice and European Court of Justice)

Public board meetings followed by a regular’s table: every Thursday we meet at 18:00 to discuss current projects. Then we let the evening end comfortably in a bar.
