Interim Financial Aid for Students faced with Financial Hardship has started again

The Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) is going to support students again who are evidently faced with acute financial hardship due to the corona pandemic, from November 2020 until March 2021. The Interim Financial Aid will be distributed by the Studentenwerke and Studierendenwerke in charge.

You can apply for Interim Financial Aid from 20th November 2020 at www.ueberbrueckungshilfe-studierende.de. The application can only be made online.

What other possibilities are there of financing your studies?

As a rule, half of the BAföG students receive does not have to be paid back - the other half is an interest-free loan. If you want to apply for BAföG, our General BAföG Advisory Service will be happy to help.
