In all of the Munich Student Union's halls of residence there is a student self-administration committee.
The self-administration is made up of house representatives, (resident) tutors, floor representatives and the people responsible for running the communal areas. The self-administration is elected by the students of the hall of residence in a general meeting.
The self-administration committee is responsible for promoting community life by, for example, organizing evenings of discussion or cultural events. Another main function of the self-administration committee is to form a communicating link between the student tenants and the Student Union landlord.
