Hall of Residence Biedersteiner Straße
About 220 years lie between the Biederstein Castle being the summer residence of the Wittelsbach family and it turning into a hall of residence for students. The residential complex for students located on the former castle grounds was created between 1950 and 1955. Two classical gate pillars made of stone with neo-baroque wrought-iron gates from the times of the castle can still be seen on the grounds. The listed building is located centrally, but also quietly, directly at the English Garden, and has, in the meantime, achieved cult status - just like the legendary Biederstein Castle carnival.
