The new double location offers plenty of room for taking a relaxing break from your sports studies at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) or from your course run by the University Sports Center Munich (ZHS).
The StuBistroMensa Connollystraße has two to three main dishes on its menu every day, at least one of which is always vegetarian. Also, several times a week, the new pizza oven is started up. Our guests can either sit down at one of the tables situated directly at the glass façade, where they can watch their fellow students’ training going on in the sports hall, or on the wide outside terrace, which provides a view of the athletics area and the surrounding training grounds.
When you have finished your meal or perhaps even in between your training units, you could walk over to the new StuLounge right next door, settle down in its comfy chairs and relax for a while. There’s a lovely smell of freshly ground coffee when entering the StuLounge, which is prepared in a portafilter espresso machine, using only fair-trade coffee, as all our gastronomic services do.
The two new gastronomic facilities were set up in the course of the modernisation that is being carried out on the entire campus of the TUM Department of Sport and Health Sciences with its roughly 3,000 students. It’s located in the north part of the Olympic Park and, since 2018, is being replaced by a new building step by step. Once the building is completed, it will have 42,204 square metres, offering 300 offices, 15 diagnosis rooms, 14 sports halls, 12 lecture halls as well as 5 workshops.
