European Championships Munich 2022 is looking for volunteers

With the European Championships Munich 2022 which is going to take place from 11 - 21 August 2022, Munich is organizing the largest sports event since the Olympic Games 1972. More than 4,400 athletes will be competing for the European Championship titles in the following sports: beach volleyball, canoe sprint, sport climbing, athletics, cycling, rowing, table tennis, triathlon and gymnastics. As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to witness the competitions from up close.  

Volunteer areas
As a volunteer you can gain work experience in various different areas and can learn important things about how a multi sports event is organized and carried out. You love mass events, organizing and technology? You would like to put your journalistic knowledge and social media skills into practice for a change or would like to take a look behind the scenes of a mass event as the managers’ right-hand woman or man? Gain some experience and extend your skills:

    • international contacts
    • language skills

It is entirely up to you for how long you want to be a volunteer. If you work more than four weeks, you will receive an official certificate. Being a volunteer at the European Championships Munich is also just the right thing for anyone who simply wants to enjoy themselves. You can count match points in the sun at the Königsplatz, plan Europe’s best climbing routes, accompany the top stars to the medal ceremony and lots more.
