Have a look at the 393rd newsletter of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Work and Social Affairs for information on how the childcare centres are going to reopen from 22nd February onwards, pending the approval of the Bavarian State Parliament.

The letter to the parents / 389th newsletter of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Work and Social Affairs provides general information and information regarding the requirements for "Beitragsersatz" (fee substitutions) for January and February 21. Parents will receive more detailed information as to how this will be carried out directly from their facility's management.

In the 387th newsletter of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Work and Social Affairs you can find information regarding the additional “Kinderkrankheitstage” (backdated to 05.10.2020, every parent and child receives not 10 but 20 days).
Should your health insurance company ask for verification by your facility, you can use the BMFSFJ’s sample confirmation, which can be used by daycare centres or schools. It is an additional document to be handed in with your formal application with your health insurance company.

This information letter of the Government of Upper Bavaria tells you when you are able to apply for compensation for loss of earnings in the case of childcare centres having to close due to corona.
