Munich Student Union presents
Film „SILVANA“ at the Documentary Film Festival
Followed by a party at the Cord Club, free entry for students!
cultureclubbing is back this summer semester!
On Thursday, 3rd May 2018 at 9.30 pm, the Student Union and the DOK.fest Munich will present the documentary SILVANA, a film by Mika Gustafson, Christina Tsiobanelis und Olivia Kastebring. The film accompanies Swedish Rapper and Hip-Hopper Silvana Imam in the first years of her career. The musician with Lithuanian-Syrian roots is committed as a feminist against racism and for the equal rights movement. Silvana, energetic, is politically active and becomes an important activist during the Swedish Parliament elections. The film documents Silvanas personal history: with her own camera she captures pictures of her beginning love to Beatrice Eli, a Pop singer from Stockholm...
The film of this feminist musician of cult status premieres at the Deutsches Theater as part of the "Great cinema" shows (German: Ganz großes Kino)!
After the screening of the film, it’s just a walk around the corner to the party at the Cord Club at 11:00 pm. The turntables will be manned by Bavarian Mobile Disco – from guitar to indietronic, disco, beat, soul, and funk, this DJ never ceases to surprise, and amazes with his tracks.
For both parts of cultureclubbing, there is only one rule: free entry for students!
Upon presenting valid student identification, the first 100 guests to arrive in the club will receive a free drink (beer, soft drink) – first come, first serve!
