A journey of remembrance to the Auschwitz Memorial

  • Categories: Tours and visits

Primo Levi was asked: “Do you think the humanity of humankind can be destroyed?”  “Unfortunately, yes, yes. And I want to say, that is the characteristic of Auschwitz,... that it annihilates the personality of humans on the inside as well as on the outside.”

The concentration camp Auschwitz was built in the mid 1940s in the suburbs of the Polish town Oświęcim, about 60 km to the west of Krakow. The town was given the German name “Auschwitz” and, throughout the world, became a symbol for the Holocaust, genocide and terror.

Hardly anyone can bear being in this terrible place all by him- or herself. Therefore we are offering a group journey to the Polish memorial of the former German concentration camp. The journey is now possible again, and so important.

PLEASE NOTE: The journay is an event of the ESG Munich. Any further information about the hygiene-concept will be announced by the organizer.
