'cultureclubbing' is an event format brought to students by the Munich Student Union (Studentenwerk München). It regularly serves up a cultural highlight combined with an after show party. With events like 'cultureclubbing meets Gogol Bordello' (in cooperation with the Munich Film Festival), 'cultureclubbing with the favourites of '08' (in cooperation with the State Gallery in Lenbachhaus and Art Development Munich) and 'insight.out-look at cultureclubbing', the 2008 photography graduates' degree show, or the 'cultureclubbing: a mistery tour' to the theatre "Metropoltheater" with a Musical show, the Munich Student Union (Studentenwerk München) wants to offer a creative platform to young artists as well as giving Munich students an insight into the local arts and culture scene. Atlough only started in November 2006, cultureclubbing has long since developed from a concept into popular culture.
