These halls of residence in North Munich, located on the former “Panzerwiese”, attract attention due to their remarkable architectural design. The main type of accommodation is shared flats, in which bathrooms and kitchens are shared with fellow students. The rest of the rooms are apartments with shared kitchen, which have their own bathroom. The kitchen in this type of accommodation is also shared with fellow residents. Due to the open stairwells and sheltered access balconies, the halls have a very spacious appearance and provide the perfect opportunity to chat and talk. The individual accommodation units, however, offer enough opportunity to withdraw and find a little peace and quiet.
