The Munich Student Union Accommodation Department offers specialised accommodation designed to meet the needs of disabled students in many of its halls' of residence. But even in halls that are not yet suitably equipped, we try to find helpful, individual solutions - like the instalation of a ramp for wheelchairs, for example.

Felsennelkenanger halls of residence
At the Felsennelkenanger halls of residence there are five doublets that are specially adapted to suit the needs of a disabled occupant (a total of 10 apartments, with 2 persons sharing a bathroom and kitchen). All apartments are on ground level and each has its own terrace.
Subway connections (U2 Dülferstraße, Panzerwiese exit) and a shopping centre are on your doorstep, and a medical center is only 800m away.
Vehicular excess is excellent - cars can be driven right up to your door.
Heidemannstraße halls of residence
The accommodation Heidemannstraße located in the north of Munich offers 3 appartments suitable for the disabled. It is equipped with an elevator and a ramp for wheelchairs leading a room with washing machines, a common room in house 6 and several parking places for the disabled. The next Subway "Kieferngarten" (U6) is only 900m away.
Accomodation "Heiglhofstraße"
The accomodation Heiglhofstraße is located close by the university hospital Großhadern and offers three appartments suitable for the disabled. All of them are on ground level and are equipped with an access for ambulance service.
Within 300 meters there are shopping facilities. The next U-Bahn Station is „Klinikum Großhadern“ (U6).
Accomodation "Josef-Wirth-Weg"
Also this new accomodation Josef-Wirth-Weg in tne north of Munich offers two fully equipped apartments on ground floor suitable for the disabled. They are easy to reach via a ramp for wheelchairs.There is a possibility to access for ambulance service.
Within 500 meters you can find the next shopping facilities. The subway "Kiefernsgarten" (U6) and "Freimann" (U6) are 1,4km and 1,6km away.

This accomodation in the Schröfelhofstraße is equipped with 10 rooms suitable for the disabled. As the appartments are designed for two persons, one of the two available rooms can be used by nursing staff. v
The next shopping facility is located near by the U-Bah "Haderner Stern" (U6),around 400 meters away.
Garching
Accomodation "Jochbergweg"
At the accomodation Jochbergweg 1-7 there is one flat-share appartment for four people on ground floor suitable for the disabled. There is a possibility of access for the ambulance service.
The subway station Garching (U6) and suitable shopping facilities are about 1km away.
Rosenheim
Accomodation "Rosenheim I"
This accomodation in the Westerndorfer Straße 47 offers an appartment for two persons with suitable furnishing. Both kitchen and bathroom are furnished suitable for the disabled. The rooms are on grouind floor and can be entered via the courtyard.
