Assessment center training – kickstart your career!
During your training you will be thoroughly educated in what there is to know about assessment centres. This includes the ins-and-outs selection procedures and how these are organised and carried out. The training aims to give you the confidence you need to successfully position yourself in the world of work.
Simulated situations are used to optimally prepare you for the assessment centre. You will have to complete typical exercises, during which you will be observed and judged.
At the end of the training you will receive personal feedback, including tips to help you optimise your performance at an assessment centre. This, in addition to the detailed understanding of assessment centres you have gained, will stand you in good stead to come through the selection procedures.

Writing a successful application
To write a successful job application you need to optimise your application documents and eliminate mistakes. The course first addresses the question of how to find potential employers and job advertisements appropriate to your particular field. Then it addresses the issue of your application documents themselves. What is really important when writing a CV? What sort of lay-out is most effective? Which criteria does the personal department use for the preliminary assessment of CVs? When is it better to apply online, and when does a written application have more impact? What do I need to know about application photos? Participants learn how to analyse a job advertisement and then how to write an appropriate application for the post. Job interview preparation techniques are practiced, as are mock job interviews. Questions typical for new graduates are addressed and participants learn how to present themselves professionally in a job interview. This workshop is specifically aimed at students who are in the latter semesters of their studies and PhD students. Participants are welcome to bring along their CVs and any other application documents that they may already have prepared.
