Community living doesn't work without an extra special effort from a number of individuals - a fact which holds true for life in student halls' of residence. To encourage such individuals to come forward and offer their time for the good of the community, the Culture Bureau offers financial support to 'tutors'. Tutor are students who organisze a wide range of educactional, cultural and sporting events in their halls of residence.
Potential tutors can apply to the student self-administration comittee in his or her halls of residence. If elected by the other residents of the halls, the student union names him/her as a tutor and pays him/her for his/her for his/her work. Additionally, the Culture Bureau offers intercultural workshops for the tutors.
