Türkenstraße Halls of Residence

These halls of residence are situated in the centre of Schwabing, almost on top of the Ludwig-Maximilians University campus. The building, with its listed fassade, was erected at the turn of the last century, but suffered severe damage during the war. Rebuilt by the student union after the war, and converted into student quarters in 1980, these halls of residence represent one of the oldest in Munich. The roof terrace, with its great views, is a popular meetin point in summer.
