About 220 years lie between Biederstein Castle's life as the summer residence of the Wittelsbacher family and the estate becoming home to students of Munich's Universities. Students first moved into the park in 1950-55. The listed building is enjoys a peaceful location right on the edge of the English Garden, and the impressive baroque wrought iron gates are a reminder of the castles regal history. Not just the building has achieved cult status - Biederstein Castle carnival is also legendary. Further informations under: www.biedersteiner.de
