The prize draw is exclusively open to students beginning their studies at a state-run University in Munich in the 2012/2013 winter semester. It is only possible to win a room in one of our Munich halls of residence - rooms in Rosenheim and Freising are not part of the prize draw!

The normal conditions for eligibility to occupy a room in a Munich Student Union halls of residence also apply.

As is usual in a prize draw, participants have no right of appeal.

You will also have the opportunity to talk to residents about their experiences in a student hall of residence and hear about other halls of residence .

For the application for a place in a hall of residence and participation in the draw, you will require:

  • conformation of acceptance ('Zulassungsbescheid') - if already available
  • personal ID or passport

The forms required for the application of BAföG are available from the BAföG stand, as are members of staff who are able to answer your BAföG-related questions.
